Like our homes, sometimes too little thought is given to our gardens.
In an attempt to just keep it under control, we often fail to recognise the resource that our gardens are.
Like houses, many of our modern gardens have followed particular templates that lacked imagination.
If you want to reveal the true potential of your garden, then you must start with your own imagination. It is important to create from within. You might be tempted to say “I know nothing about gardening”, You don’t!
Start with a wish list of things you or your family could do in your garden: Play areas? Entertaining? BBQ? Somewhere to start writing your first Novel? Something you can Eat? Don’t be afraid to ask for too much initially. Try not to bambozzle yourself with magazines and brochures. These are useful but not just now! When you have decided what you want, then its OK to browse through other people ideas. It is amazing how your garden can become whatever you want, no matter how big or how small.
